I'm new. Right now I'm working with a curator who with my images and his knowledge of Latin History (retired PHD) are submitting a grant to the Maine Arts Commission: very nominal funds are awarded. I would like to discuss with someone with skills, how to work collaboratively on an online exhibit of my Mexican Years. I painted in Mexico (gringo artist) for three decades. The curator thinks that my work there, and his historical skills, along with a philosophical construct of what he thinks is timely today can be made into an online show, and with consideration as to a bricks & mortar show, too.
My website: www.salazargallery.com will give you background. A draft of the grant application is under development. Please contact me at rolandsalazargallery.com
I am new to openexhibits and some interest in using this in my organization.
Please clarify my doubt. Is openexhibits supports windows8 touch screens? If yes, Is there any software/hardware that I need to install in the device?
Please update me which devices will supports multi gesture or openexhibits??
it was not obvious to me where to post so i am replying to this. i have several thousand pdf pages of a book i want to display. each filename represents a page number in the book which doubles as a finding aid. the project would require a left frame with the page numbers, and a central frame with the page contents, zoomable and perhaps docked for comparison. is open exhibits the right tool for this? is there another similar project i can view?
getting a bit frustrated with this as there appears to be no way to actually post a new question to this forum as a new user?! I can only reply to existing threads?
Is this actually the primary support solution for Open Exhibits or is there another avenue for logging questions/issues with software?
Ah, okay, it appears I now have a "new topic" button available to me now. Possibly only appears after I earn a certain number of badges by viewing/replying to other topics? this is a bit counter intuitive and needs to be looked at I would suggest
Im a researcher and exhibit designer for a non profit and I wanted to know how tech savvy do you need to be to use this software. I have been reading some content on the website and looking for tutorials on Youtube, could someone put me on to a literal step by step document or video. Thank you in advance.
I was just informed that Open Exhibits will no longer be supported, and is not compatible with Windows 10 OS. This seems like the only open software available for touch tables. Any recommendations from current users about supporting their current display tables? We are just starting the process of creating an exhibit using a touch table, and was disappointed to hear OE will no longer be supported. Just seeing if we should still pursue this software or look elsewhere.
Confirming it works fine on my Windows 10 table.
I'm newbie using open exhibits and I have a question, Is it possible to use dual screen in collection viewer? I've seen a video where it seems possible but no idea how to enable it.
Thank you very much!
