I've tried downloading the OE Player 1.1 on both Mac and Windows; the automatically started download gives me a corrupted zip file (using Chrome.)
In both cases the manual download link resulted in a usable zip file.
Thank you for the report we are looking into the matter and will have it resolved momentarily.
seems the download is still broken. Neither manual download seems to work properly.
Could you please suggest me a workaround?
The manual download works for me in Chrome but here is a link. Also it should be known that the OE Player is not compatible with latest framework releases and therefore, should not be used in either Windows or Mac until we have updated it. Though the player is nice for authoring exclusively in CML, building custom applications most likely will require some level of AS3 development. We recommend exploring our tutorials and examples with a Flash IDE. Not only will an IDE make the player unnecessary, but it will also provide the power to customize and publish a flash application. See the Development Environment Setup section of the Open Exhibit tutorials to configure and use one of the supported Flash development tools. We will update the player as time permits but, in any case, developing with an IDE is more beneficial.
