I am working on an exhibit that shows different maps overlaid on a base map. Each of the different maps is associated with a different legend image which I'd like to attach to the side of its particular maskview element. However, I haven't been able to find a way to do this successfully. Any help would be really appreciated. A screenshot is attached. As you can see on the side, there is the legend - I want it to be next to the maskview square itself.
There are no attributes for the container's current x and y position. How could I modify the class to keep track of that information?
I'm not sure to understand well your problem, but one way you can get the current position is by using:
so you could have something like:
var posx = document.getElementById(id_of_your_container).x;
document.getElementById(id_of_your_legend).x = posx;
