I have been getting this error all day: Error #1053: Illegal override of dispose in com.gestureworks.cml.factories.TouchContainerFactory
I have gotten it for many different things: one was just trying to add a text object to a TouchSprite. Another was for trying to use a custom component I created based off of TouchContainer (and Container). I am currently getting it when I am trying to set up an event listener to a CMLParser event. If I comment out loading the cml file, I still get it. I have to comment out the listener function to not get it.
I am using Flash Builder 4.7 on a Windows 8 machine. I am creating an Air app based on a Flex project and am extending GestureWorksAir.
I have a base app that loads 40 TouchSpites with images in them and can move them around. But if I try to do anyting else, I get this error.
I am using Flex 4.12 with Air15 but I have tried it with other versions and I still get the same thing.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Are you possibly using an old version of Open Exhibits? The factories package and it's contents has been excluded from the framework for nearly 2 years.
Wow, thanks Shaun! That appears to be it. I had the correct GML swc but an older version of the CML swc. Not sure how that happened but glad that has been resolved!
