For our new 32” Ideum table (windows 8.1), I created an open exhibits app at 1080 x 1920 pixels (portrait). I can turn the display on the table, but the media doesn’t seem to be displaying at the correct size and the buttons don’t line up as expected (for example, the attract screen is exactly 1080x1920, but is cropped on the monitor set to portrait mode).
When I run the GestureWorks point visualizer tool in portrait mode, I don’t get any data. That might be unrelated, but I was just testing if the points looked correct on a rotated view.
Just an FYI, the app works well on my Windows 7 development computer with a 90 degree rotated monitor, and a mouse with simulation mode on.
Are you setting the fullscreen flag in your main GestureWorks class or are you specifying your own stage settings?
Thanks for the reply.
The main application.as contains both the following:
[SWF(width = "1080", height = "1920", backgroundColor = "0x000000", frameRate = "30")]
Okay, sorry, it was just a Windows 8.1 setting.
Just in case someone else has the issue, I went to
Display Settings>Change the Size of All Items>Let me choose one scaling level for all my displays>smaller (100%).
When we took the table out of the crate, it was set to 125%, and that was causing the issues.
